Public benefit concerns
The paediatric network CrescNet is committed to structured data collection of body height, weight and head circumference measurements and their consistent review for early detection purposes.
For children with conspicuous growth, the database interfaces have been expanded and adapted so that documentation of treatment data can be used in the sense of quality assurance. This functionality can be used by authorised treatment facilities for paediatric endocrinology.
The data collection created in this way together with all participants is open for scientific questions, the results of which are made available to the public.
The network is dependent on financial contributions and support in order to be able to fulfil its associated tasks.
